The inspiration
Back when I was a child, I loved watching the old Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! cartoon. However, I couldn’t help but wish the gang only consisted of “Danger-Prone” Daphnes who got captured even more often every episode. From there came the inspiration for this series. I also wanted each book to be a self-contained adventure so the reader didn’t feel like the books had to be read in order.
Tone-wise, it’s milder that some of my other works. I wanted to keep the series more light-hearted and fun, rather than dark and overtly sexual. However, there’s no shortage of rope-happy antagonists who continuously subject our heroines to a variety of bondage-driven perils.
Gloria, Angie, and Lián take their first case investigating a dark figure moving around a millionaire’s mansion. Things go south quickly when, one by one, each woman is set upon by the dark figure who leaves them tied up and helpless!
The trio’s second case involves some strange goings-on at a beachside home under renovation. The girls take some R&R before starting work, but when they return, their stuff is gone! Things go from bad to worse as team members disappear.
Gloria, Angie, and Lián investigate a circus reportedly haunted by a ghost clown. As if Lián's coulrophobia wasn't enough of a liability, things quickly take a dangerous turn as they realize the clown is not a ghost, but a real-life threat.
